Park City Transload Facility Opened to Meet Growing Supply Chain Needs

In response to growing needs of MRL’s customers and an ever-changing logistics and supply chain industry, Montana Rail Link recently opened the Park City Transload facility in Park City, Montana. Opened in November 2019, the secure, lighted and fully fenced facility is staffed 12 hours a day, seven days a week and can transload product rail-to-truck, truck-to-rail, and rail-to-rail.  Only 29 miles from Billings, and Located along I-90, the facility offers easy access to refineries and end-customers throughout the region. Two new Gorman-Rupp pumps allow for clear and red-dye diesel to be transloaded simultaneously, reducing driver wait time and TopTech TMS6 technology allow for seamless metering, bill-of-lading management and inventory control. The facility has successfully operated with no injuries, accidents or product spills since its startup in 2019.
