The employees at the original Modern Machinery branch in Spokane are set to receive a new building this summer. The new 35,000 sq. ft. facility will allow Modern to better meet the needs of its customers by expanding their parts storage and shop space. The building features 10,000 sq. ft. of parts warehouse, 6 general repair bays, an undercarriage assembly bay, a welding/fabrication bay and a steam‐clean bay. The state of the art steam clean bay has a heated floor to avoid ice build up in cold winter months. Despite some minor weather related delays over the winter months, the project is set to wrap up in mid‐July.

Andy Kazanis, Spokane Branch Manager said, “The new facility demonstrates Modern’s commitment to customers and their industries even as the nation weathers temporary uncertainties. Modern is using this time to improve our offerings and to be in best position to serve. The company is stable and optimistic, something our customers appreciate knowing. Modern’s alliance with the world’s leading equipment manufacturers pays off again."

Modern Machinery sells and rents high quality heavy equipment and provides service and support to the construction, mining, and forestry industries. Modern Machinery, which began operation in Spokane, Washington, now operates full service branches in Missoula, Billings and Kalispell (Montana); Boise and Pocatello (Idaho); Kent and Rochester (Washington); Portland and Eugene (Oregon) and Magadan, Russia.
