Modern Machinery is pleased to announce that it has sold the majority of its Madill LLC operating assets to Nicholson Manufacturing out of Sidney BC, Canada effective January 28, 2011. Nicholson is the world-wide leader in the manufacture and sale of log debarkers and has immediate plans to begin manufacturing the Madill equipment line. �The sale allows a true manufacturing company to bring back the Madill product line,� says Lamont Cantrell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Current Madill employees will begin working for Nicholson immediately. As a result, the same high level of support that Madill was known for will continue uninterrupted. Customers will continue to contact SMS Equipment in Canada and Modern Machinery in the US for all their parts and service needs. Information relating to the new Madill equipment product offerings will be announced shortly.
