Modern Machinery Expands Operations in Russia to Include the Sakhalin Island

Modern Machinery now offers sales, rentals, parts and service at two branches in Russia - Magadan and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, located on the South end of the Sakhalin Island. |
Modern Machinery recently announced their continued expansion of their Russion operations with the opening of a new branch in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, located on the South end of the Sakhalin Island. The Sakhalin Island possesses some of the richest fisheries in the North Pacific as well as large oil and gas resources which are now under development.
Like Modern’s Magadan facility, this new branch is a full service Sales, Rentals, Parts and Service facility. In addition to Komatsu Construction, forestry (including Timbco and Valmet) and mining machinery, Modern Machinery also markets complimentary products including Wirtgen road building products, Sakai compaction equipment, Atlas Copco drilling equipment, ESCO, Hensley and competitive ground engaging tools as well as numerous manufacturers of forestry equipment. The branch also has increased parts storage to accommodate the growing business opportunities in Russia.
